We are thrilled to announce that Kate Roberts joined BozLaw as a full-time associate attorney on November 1, 2025.
I had the privilege of representing Kate several years ago. Not long afterward, she reached out to discuss her interest in attending law school—a path I enthusiastically encouraged her to pursue. During her first year of law school, Kate completed a legal internship with BozLaw and continued clerking with our firm throughout her legal education. Over the course of her clerkship, it became clear that Kate had become an invaluable member of the BozLaw team, and we were determined not to lose her to a fancy, highbrow law firm. Fortunately, Kate shared our vision for her future!
Not only is Kate wicked smart—she graduated as valedictorian from Willamette University School of Law—but she also brings deep knowledge, compassion, and unwavering determination in representing our clients. A survivor of childhood sexual abuse and adult clergy sexual abuse herself, Kate practices law because she believes in standing with and empowering those who have been harmed and silenced. Her work is driven by both professional excellence and a personal understanding of the courage needed to seek justice and healing. Kate also co-founded Restored Voices Collective, a nonprofit that supports survivors of adult clergy sexual abuse in understanding their stories, connecting in community, and reclaiming their voices.
We are extremely fortunate to have Kate as a colleague, and our clients are much better served now that Kate is on Team BozLaw!
