Kate Roberts is an attorney at BozLaw, where she advocates for survivors of sexual abuse against perpetrators and the institutions that enabled their harm. She practices law because she believes in standing with and empowering those who have been harmed and silenced. A survivor of adult clergy sexual abuse, Kate’s work is driven by both professional excellence and a personal understanding of the courage needed to seek justice and healing.
Motivated by her own journey, Kate co-founded Restored Voices Collective, a nonprofit that supports survivors of adult clergy sexual abuse in understanding their stories, building community, and reclaiming their voices. Kate graduated as valedictorian from Willamette University School of Law, where she earned a Certificate in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution and served as an editor for Willamette Law Review. She received the Bruce Spalding Award for Trial Advocacy and the Ethics Award for her integrity and courtroom skill.
When she’s not practicing law, Kate enjoys exploring new recipes in the kitchen, savoring a good book and a cup of tea, and hiking Oregon’s trails with family and friends.
